When I started this Yoga Teacher Training Program, I knew it would give me a more in depth understanding of Yoga, and of how to be a better teacher. BUT - I was not expecting to have this amazing "waking up" experience....... and that is exactly what happened to me. At the beginning of the Teacher Training Program, I was having several different personal and family challenges..... and by the end of the Teacher Training - I had made some really big decisions that moved me into a new direction. New and wonderful opportunities opened up to me. I was so surprised and delighted! The main thing that I noticed -- through the things that I was learning at the Yoga Teacher Training - was that I was learning how to really BE in the present moment, and pay attention. I was able to really "tune in" to my heart, my body, my mind, and my spirit..... and that made all of the difference for me. I was able to listen to my true self. I was able to make good decisions from a place of LOVE - and not from a place of fear. And - For ME - that is really huge progress !!! YES - I did learn SO MUCH about Yoga (and so many different forms and practices)..... but I also learned a great deal about Myself - and how to really love and accept Myself. THANK YOU 21st Yoga !!!!!

21st Yoga has organized a spectrum of offerings unique to a Yoga Teacher Training program. This is my fourth Teacher Training course and while I am an active teacher in the yoga community, I found it important to update my continuing educational skills.
The past four months have provided our class with a dozen workshops and guest specialists from comparable fields in and around the yoga community. This variety of schooling was designed to enrich and develop our foundation while becoming well-rounded Yoga Teachers.
Development of a comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training program requires careful thought and pre-planning. The 21st Yoga school 200-hour model has taken into consideration all the aspects behind establishing a solid base for new teachers. This foundation exposes new teachers to specific specialty areas to be explored in more depth in future training modules. 21st Yoga's unique style of training assists the new teacher in finding and further developing their niche, all the while, providing depth and breadth in a Yoga Teacher Training model.
Specifically, I have enjoyed our class camaraderie. Carefully thought-out group development through the help of a well-developed curriculum, guidelines towards an easily accessible communication format, and sensitivity toward the need for a flexible attendance chart when emergencies arose. Overall, I felt the management and coordination of group development and class enrichment was taken into consideration.
Although I am not a new teacher, this program assisted me in my continuing educational learning further assisting me in maintaining current methodologies, practices and philosophies. I found it to be well-worth my investment of money, time and energy.
Thank you Lucy and John.
I would like to thank Lucy, John, and all the staff at 21st Yoga for making the Fall 2018
Teachers Training one of the best teacher training program experiences I have had to date. I
signed up for the 200-Hour teacher training at 21st Yoga because I was looking for continuing
education hours from a studio that offered a certification in Yin Yoga. 21st Yoga 's philosophy
of community along with its talented and mindful staff of Yin Yoga teachers has exceeded my
expectations for this yoga teacher training. Not only were we invited to attend all of the
studio's workshops that where scheduled during this time, but we also had some of the most
interesting field trips and educational open discussions that I have ever been privileged to
attend. I would recommend 21st Yoga's teacher training program to anyone who is looking
to gain a deeper knowledge of Yoga.
I would recommend without reservation the Yin Immersion at 21st Yoga. Lucy Dillon and the teaching team she assembled are extremely knowledgeable and natural teachers. The instructors have respect for everyone as individuals with unique needs. They all share the 21st Yoga sense of community and embody the 21st Yoga manifesto "We believe Yoga is an ATTITUDE as much as an ASANA; We believe everyone deserves a save HAVEN from the storm.
I practice yoga, but I am not a Yoga Teacher. I learned so much about Yin, the how and why it works for anyone who exists in this world, for anyone who is active in this world, for anyone who may have had an injury, Yin's relationship to mental or physical trauma, and so much more. This immersion gave me a much deeper understanding of Yin along with the wider philosophical beliefs guiding the practice of yoga. The community that we formed among the students and the teaching team is one of mutual respect and love and will be part of my personal community for years to come.
Do I recommend it? YES!!
Would I take another Immersion? YES!!

As a former student of the awesome 21st Yoga teaching staff, I would highly recommend the 200 hour
RYT teacher training program to anyone who is looking for a high quality teacher training program. I am
currently a yoga teacher and owe so much of my success to the education and training I received from
the staff at 21st Yoga. To deepen my knowledge, I recently completed the 100 hour restore immersion at 21st
Yoga and must say that it was hands down the one of the best immersions I have experienced. Lucy
Dillon, John Cottrell, Kim Dastrup, Scott Moore and many of the other master teachers bring a combined
wealth of knowledge and experience that is second to none.
The teacher training staff are genuinely committed to a program of excellence and to helping each
individual student learn what it takes to deepen their personal practice and how to bring this increased
level of knowledge and awareness into the yoga teaching realm. The community at 21st Yoga is what
makes this studio special. The support, encouragement and a connection to people who truly know and
live yoga philosophy will be a life changing experience.
